About Raj Chawla
Raj Chawla is an award winning photographer with 18 years of experience as a photojournalist and photography editor for newspapers and magazines and ten years photographing weddings. He specializes in true documentary style photography and location portraiture, emphasizing emotion, moment and quality of light. Chawla's work has appeared in The New York Times, Time, Newsweek, Vermont Life, USA Today, The Washington Post and the Boston Globe. He is currently Director of Medical Photography for the University of Vermont College of Medicine. He lives in northwest Vermont with his wife and three daughters.
